COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL

Dear Guests,

It is with the utmost regret that we feel it necessary to inform you that, despite the easing of lockdown procedures by the Irish Government, this B&B, as many others accomodations, not returned to the pre-covid 19 normality we would have all hoped for.

We will of course, without exception, endeavour to offer the best of our ability a safe and, as far as humanly possible, risk free environment during your stay. Find below the modifications and protocols that we have implemented in our B&B.

 FACILITIES MODIFICATIONS

The rooms, common areas and the breakfast area are cleaned and disinfected in line with Government guidelines. Extra care is given to sanitise high-touch points and surfaces in the common areas (hall, lounge and sundeck). Hand sanitizer dispensers are located through the premises. Wearing a face mask is now a personal choice for the guests.

Some of the facilities from our guest rooms have been removed for your safety. Digital breakfast menu and digital informative leaflets about the region are available in the rooms.

For your protection and that of our staff, your room will not be entered by staff during your stay, but fresh towels will be provided on request.

ILLNESS PROTOCOL

Should you become ill during your stay and develop covid-like symptoms, the following information should be considered:

  • General Practitioner must be contacted immediately:

    • During working hours: Dr Brian O’Donovan in Cahersiveen, Main Street (Tel. +353.66.947.21.21)

    • Outside working hours (urgent medical needs): South Doc service in Waterville, Main Street (Tel. +353.818.335.999)

    • Emergency services: 112

  • Any guidelines given by health services/authorities must be strictly respected.

  • Self-isolation at this establishment cannot be considered as an option and all and any associated costs would be to your personal account. These costs would accumulate on a daily base should any overstay be unavoidable.

  • Should you become unexpectedly incapacitated, then medical assistance and general social help is very limited and an immediate move to a medical facility at, or within, your home environment is to be considered. If for any reason you cannot be repatriated to your home base without any delay, then you should be aware that all associated costs of your stay become your personal responsibility with immediate effect.
