RING OF KERRY
The Ring of Kerry is a circular 180 km driving route around the Iveragh Peninsula that starts and finishes in Killarney. It is better to drive the route anti-clockwise to enjoy the rugged and verdant coastal landscapes and rural seaside villages.
It also guides you through the Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve offering, thanks to dark unlightpolluted skies, a unique opportunity to observe more stars, planets, and the Milky Way than anywhere else in the world .
A quiet scenic road through often very steep route around the most westerly promontory of the Iveragh Peninsula, showing astonishing views of the Atlantic Ocean.
